The war memorial is positioned on the village green between the Blue Bell Inn and the Village Hall. 28 men from the parish served during WW1. Their names have been added to the Roll of Honour which was displayed in All Saints Church, during the war.

Viewed from the south west the main houses making up Ingleby Cross are seen. The village Hall is to the left and rear; the Blue Bell Inn is to the right.

The large workshop in Ingleby Cross has writing above the large white double doors stating that "St Bees Head is 140 miles and Robin Hood's Bay 50 miles". The building has a Grade II Listing and dates to the early 19th century.

The corner building and the building adjoining together comprise the village post office which has a Grade II Listing with Historic England. The buildings date to the early 18th and 19th centuries. The post office is open on Mondays only, between 10-12 noon.

The Blue Bell Inn has a Grade II Listing with Historic England. The Inn dates to 1912. Coast to Coast walkers, amongst others, often stay overnight at the Blue Bell, as the path passes its very door.

The Village Hall is opposite to the Blue Bell Inn. The building is dated to 1910. It is a single storey building with a clock tower replacing the chimney.
